Had Hanrahan hit free agency last season, the righty most likely would have gotten top-closer money coming off of back-to-back All-Star seasons in which he racked up 40 and 36 saves, respectively. However, his time in Boston was a bust, as he went 0-1 with a 9.82 ERA while blowing two saves in just nine games before missing the remainder of the season with a forearm injury, leaving him as one of the biggest question marks on the market.
