17. Phil Hughes, Starting Pitcher
Status: Signed by the Minnesota Twins to a three-year deal worth $24 million
Hughes was just simply not made to pitch in the new Yankee Stadium. Put Hughes in a more spacious park such as Petco Park or Comerica Field and you may see Hughes’ numbers improve, as his stuff is certainly better than a 4-14 record.
