24. Edward Mujica, Relief Pitcher
Status: Signed by the Boston Red Sox to a two-year contract worth $9.5 million
Mujica compiled 37 saves and made his first All-Star team as the Cardinals closer before yielding door-shutting duties to young Trevor Rosenthal. Injuries are rumored to have been a factor in Mujica’s demotion and if he shows that he is healthy he just may get a chance to close again this season.
