26. Scott Kazmir, Starting Pitcher
Status: Signed by the Oakland Athletics to a two-year deal worth $22 million
Kazmir was a Jekyll and Hyde type pitcher in his comeback season with the Indians. In some starts he looked like the Kazmir of old, like when he struck out 12 Mets to begin Sepetember and then fanned 10 Astros and 11 Twins to end the month. At other times, though, it looked like Kazmir was throwing batting practice, as evidenced by the 19 homer runs he allowed this past season. It will be interesting to see which Kazmir shows up this year: the strike out artist or the gopher ball extraordinaire.
