It might be early, but this game has a lot at stake. If the U.S. knocks off Belgium in the afternoon, it will take on the winner of the Argentina and Switzerland game.
So who is going to win? I’m putting my money on Argentina. While the Argentina defense leaves a lot to be desired, Lionel Messi has been ridiculous so far. Switzerland’s defense is going to have its hands full shutting down Argentina’s striker who has scored four goals thus far.
For Switzerland, if it has any chance at pulling off the upset, it’ll need Xherdan Shaqiri to come up big yet again. Shaqiri scored three goals in Switzerland’s last game — a 3-0 win over Honduras.
