Rob Gronkowski recently did a photoshoot for ESPN The Magazine where the Patritos tight end amusingly posed with some kittens.
Of course, Gronk was going to inevitably catch some slack for the photos (how could he not?) from some within the Patriots organization. Hilariously enough, world famous curmudgeon Bill Belichick got the troll-train running on Thursday.
Bill Belichick struck first this morning by unveiling the ESPN The Magazine photos at the team meeting that kickstarts each day, and the room was out of control.
Hilariously enough, when he was asked about the photos later that day, Gronk took a page out of Belichick’s media playbook:
“I’m just worried about the Miami Dolphins right now.”
Darrelle Revis was a little more forthcoming as he noted that Belichick’s decision to poke fun at Gronk’s photoshoot helped lighten the mood at practice.
Revis also helpfully opined that the photos of a huge, muscled Rob Gronkowski holding little furry kittens were “kind of weird.”
The Bieber curse must be working in mysterious ways this year.
