Like our Kansas State-Auburn predicament, we could move either the Tigers or Seminoles up the rankings with one guaranteed loss but this feels like a comfortable slot for Clemson. As mentioned, this game rides on C.J. Davidson and D.J. Howard for Dabo Swinney. The defense doesn’t need to be perfect, as they have enough firepower to overcome 30-plus points from Florida State. It’s one of the few resume-building games for FSU therefore you know Jimbo is pulling out everything in an attempt to convince some CFP members.
