9. Jhonny Peralta, Shortstop
Status: Signed by the St. Louis Cardinals to a four-year deal worth about $52 million
Peralta made the first All-Star team of his longtime career in 2010 and replicated that feat again in 2013. When the Biogenesis suspensions were handed out this past summer, we found out why he probably did. But as Melky Cabrera and Bartolo Colon have shown, steroid suspensions do not seem to affect players come free agency and Peralta’s numbers are more than good enough for him to catch on somewhere.
