2. Brian McCann, Catcher
Status: Signed by the New York Yankees to a five-year deal worth $85 million
McCann carries an impressive resume with him into free agency. He has made the All-Star team in all but two years of his nine-year career and won Silver Sluggers in five of them. McCann is expected to get paid this winter and at the top of his list of suitors are (surprise!) the Yankees. Will the Bombers open their checkbook to make McCann their backstop or will he find more lucrative offers elsewhere?
