Status: Signed by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim to a one-year deal worth $2.75 million plus incentives
After becoming a postseason folk hero during the 2012 playoffs, Ibanez continued to produce at heroic proportions last season by walloping 29 dingers for the Mariners last season at the age of 41. Ibanez’s power numbers have showed no signs of slowing down, so any team in need of a short term slugger should inquire.
