23. Mike Morse, Outfielder and First Baseman
Status: Signed by the San Francisco Giants to a one-year deal worth $6 million plus incentives.
After putting together a string of solid seasons for Washington in 2010-12, Morse had the worst season of his career in 2013 from a WAR standpoint, capped off by a dreadful 12 game stint in Baltimore following a trade form Seattle in which he hit .103 and failed to homer or pick up an RBI. With that being said, Morse is still young enough (31-years old) and talented enough to rebound in 2014 and could be a solid addition to a team’s lineup.
