3. Mike Devereaux, Outfielder, Atlanta Braves
Even though he was not in the lineup for Game 1 and was pinch hit for in Game 2, Mike Devereaux was still named the MVP of the Braves four game sweep of the Cincinnati Reds in 1995.
Despite being a career journey man, Devereaux came up in the clutch countless times against the Reds, including his eleventh-inning go-ahead RBI single in Game 1 after coming in as a defensive replacement for Ryan Klesko in the ninth and then again in Game 4 with a three-run four-bagger, as part of a five run Atlanta seventh inning.
Devereaux would bat .308 over the entire series to go along with five runs batted in.
