SETH JONES
We have to give some love to a rookie. Defenseman Seth Jones miraculously fell to 4th in the draft and was a steal for the Nashville Predators. Seth is the son of former basketball player Popeye Jones, and is a three-time gold medalist for Team USA at the World Juniors. He was also named the WHL’s Rookie of the Year with 56 points in 2013. The possibility of a Seth Jones-Shea Weber tandem is enough to make me a Preds fan.
