The Nuge has been plagued by injuries since entering the league in 2011, but he’s on the road to recovery after having offseason shoulder surgery. The Oilers are hopeful that their No. 1 center will be ready to start the season come October 1st, and if he can stay healthy, he could be a huge factor in getting the Oilers out of their seven-year playoff drought.
