Writer: Michael Leboff
Album: Lucius- Wildewoman (2013)
The album that has me most excited this fall is “Wildewoman” by Lucius. The best way to describe this album, as well as the band, is infectious.
Between the vocal melodies and beautiful hooks and you will find yourself spinning the band’s debut album all day long. The band has already built up a reputation for stirring live shows and could be a breakout candidate coming off the momentum of a successful CMJ performance.
Favorite Track: Go Home — An evoking reprise in which the vocalists Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig claim “I don’t need you anyway…go home.”
