On Friday at the U.S. Open at Merion golf club, a spectator yelled out ‘mashed potatoes’ at Phil Mickelson, and today someone took the obnoxiousness to a new level. Prior to Sergio Garcia teeing off a fan yelled out “fried chicken’ at Sergio and it got a few chuckles out of the crowd. The reference was meant as a dig to Sergio for his poor fried chicken joke directed at Tiger Woods recvently.
