Love him or hate him, it’s hard to deny golfer John Daly’s got a uniquely eclectic fashion sense.
Case and point, check out these absolutely ridiculous pants Daly sported at the British Open today. There’s so many colors, shapes, and patterns, I don’t even know where to begin.

This is all standard fare for Daly, who’s always worn amazing pants. During Round 1 of the Senior Players Championship, the 51-year-old multiple Major Championship winner wore checkered pants with the Baltimore Orioles logo pasted across them.

John Daly is to pants, what Don Cherry is to suits. The more ridiculous and flashy, the better. It’s a trademark for the enigmatic golfer.
Unfortunately, the pants didn’t bring any extra luck to Daly. As of the writing of this post, he sits tied for 119th at +5 on the 16th whole. Barring a miracle, he’ll finish well back of the leaders at the event. However, who cares? His pants are awesome.
This isn’t the first time Daly wore crazy pants, nor will it be the last time. Regardless, it’s still amazing Daly will keep the tradition going – even if the pants are ugly as sin. But, with Daly wearing them they are beautiful. They defy explanation.
