If Henrik Stenson is not happy about a shot, you’re probably going to know about it. The Swedish golfer has a history of showcasing his short temper and taking out his anger on his clubs, and he did just that during the first round of the British Open on Thursday.
After a tough shot in the long rough on the 17th, Stenson clearly wasn’t pleased with the result and proceeded to smash his club over his knee/thigh, snapping it clean in half. Probably not the smartest or most professional reaction but, hey, at least the break was impressive. Bo Jackson-esque, even.
Hopefully Callaway has some reserves on hand for the testy Swede.
