Yesterday’s release of JailbreakMe v3, a simple way to jailbreak your iOS device, has already jailbroken over a million devices according to a tweet by by chpwn, an iPhone Dev-Team member.
iOS users who have jailbroken their devices represent approximately 3-5% of total users. With 1,000,000 devices having used the recent JailbreakMe exploit by the jailbreak community, or 20% of the existing jailbreakers, it has technically penetrated one percent of the overall iOS market.
