The EDV (Emergency Disaster Vehicle) is a portable house. It is pretty damn small (6m x 2.5m x 2.4m) so one would think that even the Japanese would be cramped, but two people could live fairly comfortably in it, especially considering they just lived through the apocalypse. They contain a bathroom, kitchen, beds and satellite connectivity. The batteries recharge via solar panel, so anything short of a nuclear winter will keep your gadgets running. Rest assured, Cosby Sweaters will still be bringing you fresh content if you ever find yourself relegated to one of these:
