In case you haven’t been keeping up, the Edmonton Oilers aren’t very good at defense. Like, at all.
We received another reminder of that on Wednesday night when they took on the Vancouver Canucks at home. After taking a penalty in the second period, the Oilers lost a faceoff in their defensive zone and had all four skaters flock to the faceoff dot, leaving Canucks forward Radim Vrbata all alone to rip a slapshot past Ben Scrivens two seconds into the man-advantage.
Here come the Oilers!
