Kari Lehtonen and the Dallas Stars shut out the Kings in Los Angeles on Thursday night, beating the reigning Stanley Cup champs 2-0 in their own building. Lehtonen made 27 saves in the clean sheet effort, none better that this one to rob Jarret Stoll in the second period.
After a loose puck trickled to Stoll just in front of the crease, Lehtonen got full extension with his left arm while falling backwards to make an unbelievable glove save and keep the Kings off the board.
Take another look, it’s one of the best saves you’ll see this year.
