
Standing at 5’5 tall, Darren Pang is the second shortest goaltender to ever play in the NHL, taller than only one-aptly nicknamed Roy “Shrimp” Worters, who was 5’3.
Meanwhile, Ben Bishop – listed at 6’7 – happens to be the tallest netminder to ever man an NHL crease. The Lightning goalie recently crossed paths with Panger, now working as a broadcaster, in Tampa Bay’s locker room, where they traded equipment just for funsies.
Fortunately for the rest of us, someone was there to snap a photo of the result, which is nothing short of gold. I would love to see Big Ben take some shots wearing those shinpads.
