Smith has been vowing that there would be “blood and guts” if he ever ran into his old team and he pretty much put Carolina on blast during the first week of the season. Like he has throughout his career, Steve Smith seemed intent on backing up his words early and often against the Panthers.
Poor Roman Harper, who was the subject of Smith’s shot, wasn’t even on the Panthers last year.
