Last week, longtime NFL sideline reporter Michele Tafoya revealed that she thinks Kansas City Chiefs superstar tight end Travis Kelce could decide to retire at the end of the season. And that led to a reaction from Rob Gronkowski.
During an appearance on Up & Adams this week, Rob Gronkowski reacted to the rumors regarding the potential retirement of Travis Kelce, saying that he thinks “there’s some truth to it.”
“There are definitely a lot of rumors about it, and when there’s rumors about it. And when there’s rumors, I would say there’s definitely some smoke, and there’s some truth to it,” Gronkowski said. “I would say it’s fully true, what everything that’s being talked about, but they are at that age that retirement is totally possible – they can retire in any given season.”

“If Travis goes out and he gets a championship, I could see him retiring,” Gronkowski said. “I mean, they’re doing great things off the field. They’ve got that podcast together – it’s the No. 1 podcast in the sports world now. They’re doing all their commercials, they’ve got the whole family involved. So it’s great to see, and they’ve got a lot of opportunities after the game of football, as well.”
We’ll have to see whether or not Kelce does decide to retire at the end of the season.
