Christmas week just keeps getting better for the Seattle Seahawks. Today, cornerback Richard Sherman announced he’d won his appeal of a four-game suspension related to performance enhancing drugs that would have kept him out of Sunday’s game against the St. Louis Rams, and, more importantly, the entire NFC playoffs. The league hadn’t yet announced the results before Sherman took to Twitter:

Today’s ruling also means the entire Legion of Boom is intact for the playoffs, as Brandon Browner, Sherman’s partner in cornerback crime, ends his four-game suspension — also related to PEDs — in time for the playoffs. The duo, along with safety Kam Chancellor (perhaps you’re familiar with his work?) will undoubtedly be playing with a Tostito’s bag worth of chips on their shoulders, especially after safety Earl Thomas was the lone Seahawks defensive back named to the Pro Bowl. And, barring a collapse by the 49ers — or the total meltdown scenario of the 49ers and Packers both losing — the Seahawks will be taking their devastating hits show on the road against the NFC East champion.
