The Seattle Seahawks are likely going to be without Jeremy Lane for the rest of the Super Bowl due to an injury that he suffered intercepting Tom Brady in the first quarter.
Unfortunately for the Seahawks, Lang’s exit put a big target on the back of his replacement Tharold Simon.
In the two biggest plays of their very next drive, the Patriots went after Simon and had a huge amount of success. On a critical third and nine, Brady found Julian Edelman for a 23 yard gain with Simon in coverage. Then, two plays later, Brady would find Brandon LaFell for an 11 yard touchdown pass. LaFell was Simon’s assignment on the play as well.
Brady picked on Tharold Simon on Edelman's 23-yarder on third down then LaFell's TD. Simon in for the injured Lane.

Yeah, Seattle may have to adjust their defensive game plan soon.
