Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh has been suspended for one game after stepping on Aaron Rodgers’ leg during Sunday’s 30-20 loss to the Green Bay Packers. Suh’s move wasn’t on the level of a full stomp (similar to teammate Dominic Railoa — who served his own one-game suspension yesterday), but his track record of dirty play almost certainly led to the NFL doling out a harsher punishment. Suh plans to appeal, but if it gets denied, he’ll have to sit out the Lions’ first playoff game against the Dallas Cowboys this weekend.
