According to Chris Mortensen of ESPN, Josh Gordon is kicking around the idea of playing in the CFL while he serves a one-year suspension for the 2014 NFL season.

Of course, this is unlikely to occur as Ian Rapaport found out when speaking to a CFL GM about the possibility of Gordon taking his talents up north.

And because the Browns aren’t THAT reckless, they’ve already reportedly ruled out allowing Gordon to play in the CFL and potentially put his body in harm’s way.

So, while Josh Gordon may be looking for a way to play professional football this year, it doesn’t look like the CFL is going to be a realistic route (which kinda sucks because Josh Gordon is a widely talented and entertaining wide receiver and it would be awesome to see him clown on the CFL for a year).
