The Chicago Bears are having a rough go of things as of late.
The Bears have lost three games in a row to fall under .500 and are making major changes as a result. Chicago fired offensive coordinator Shane Waldron, and even released offensive lineman Nate Davis.
There’s more news coming out of Chicago, and unfortunately, it isn’t good.
“(Bears safety) S Jaquan Brisker remains in concussion protocol after suffering the injury on October 6—38 days ago. Chicago has already ruled him out for this week against Green Bay,” reported NFL insider Ari Meirov on Wednesday.
Fans reacted to the news they’d be without a defensive playmaker on social media.
“Wouldn’t be a terrible idea to just keep him out the rest of the year if it’s that bad,” one fan suggested on Twitter.
“I’d rather him come back 100% instead of being rushed back,” one fan added.
“This is troubling news. Hope Brisker can bounce back,” one fan said.
“Maybe he’s just really dumb and can’t pass the concussion test when he is healthy. Is that possible?” one fan added.
“Man I really hope he is okay. I don’t care if he plays football again if that means he can live the rest of life happy and healthy,” someone else said.
“All I know is both players got absolutely rocked on that play – no clue how/why they let him back in the game,” one fan said, referencing the player where he was injured.
Hopefully, Brisker returns with a clean bill of health before the season is over and can help the Bears make a playoff push.
