The vast majority of the NFL community seems to expect the Chicago Bears to select a quarterback with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft and part ways with current quarterback Justin Fields. But star wide receiver DJ Moore seems to have other plans.

During a recent interview with NFL Media, DJ Moore made it clear that he does not think that the Bears should use the No. 1 overall pick on a quarterback like Caleb Williams or Drake Maye because he does not think that anyone in the current draft compares to Justin Fields.

“I still don’t think they compare to Justin right now,” Moore told NFL Media on Monday.

Instead, Moore thinks that the team should use their first-round pick on a wide receiver like Marvin Harrison Jr.

“I want to say, yeah, we could add another receiver,” Moore said. “They got some real talented ones [in the draft]. I know Marvin [Harrison Jr.], so that’d be a choice of mine. But any of those guys that are the big names, I’ve seen and really liked.”

Harrison is widely considered the top receiver in the 2024 NFL Draft field, but Malik Nabers and Rome Odunze are also projected to be first-round picks.

It will certainly be interesting to see what the Bears decide to do at the quarterback position.
