It looks like the Carolina Panthers have had a pretty significant change in their front office as the team’s Vice President of Player Personnel, Adrian Wilson, is no longer with the team.
On Sunday morning, the Carolina Panthers confirmed that Adrian Wilson is no longer with the team after noticing that he was no longer listed on the team’s official website.
“Adrian Wilson will not continue in his position as Vice President of Player Personnel for the Carolina Panthers,” a Carolina Panthers team spokesperson told Pro Football Talk on Sunday morning. “Consistent with our organizational policy on employee matters, we will have no further comment.”
It’s not clear exactly why Wilson is no longer with the team or whether he was the one who left or if the Panthers decided to move on, but it is obviously a pretty significant shakeup in the team’s front office.
Wilson took a job with the Panthers just a year ago, in February 2023, so his stint with the team was not all that long. Wilson has been mentioned as a possible candidate for general manager jobs in the past. Needless to say, it will certainly be interesting to see what he does next.
