The Chicago Bears haven’t had anything go right since getting off to an impressive 4-2 start on the year. The Bears have since lost nine straight games to find themselves at 4-11 on the year.
It’s not quite what fans had in mind when the Bears selected former Heisman Trophy winner Caleb Williams first overall in the NFL draft. However, some revealing news about Williams has now come to light.
“Caleb Williams has now lost 9 starts in which he threw 0 interceptions, which is now the most such losses in a single season since QB starts were first tracked in 1950
“His INT-less attempts streak has now reached 326, which is over 100 attempts longer than the previous longest rookie streak in NFL history AND over 100 longer than the previous longest Bears streak in franchise history,” reported NFL expert Eric Edholm.

Fans reacted to the news that Williams has actually been one of the Bears’ best quarterbacks in recent memory on social media.
“The lack of INTs is good but all the sacks he’s taken cancel those benefits out for sure. He’s going to have to grow as a passer in the pocket, dissecting defenses at the line of scrimmage, getting the ball out instead of taking those sacks and give his receivers more opps,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“When Aaron Rodgers was a new starter, his development was prioritized over and above team wins too. Not sure what this means for the future,” another fan added.
“Kind of an overrated Stat if you aren’t hitting chunk plays. Also, a few should have been picked that weren’t,” one fan added.
“How does this stat amount to wins? The team is 4-11 and always trailing in games,” a fan added.
Williams may need to start taking more risks for the Bears to have a shot at winning games.
