Caleb Williams is just a rookie who has not even played a regular season snap with the Chicago Bears, but it sounds like he is already making an impression on his new teammates with his leadership ability.

During a recent interview with 670 The Score, Chicago Bears veteran safety Kevin Byard told a story that tells of a rather classy move Caleb Williams made for the Chicago Bears custodians, showing his leadership ability and his attention to detail.

Byard explained that after a workout, Williams called out the team for leaving the locker room area messy with trash and towels, and he challenged them to be better about picking up after themselves and helping out the custodians by picking up their own things.

Clearly, Byard was impressed by this move from the rookie quarterback.

“That’s just little things. But I think that when you want to be a great player, you always focus on the little details – the details of everything around you,” Byard said of Williams.

“Little things like that just make the guy special,” Byard said. “I think Bears fans are in for a treat for a while with Caleb Williams.”

It seems like Williams is not afraid to lead the team, even if he is just a rookie.
