Last week, Chicago Bears rookie quarterback Caleb Williams struggled mightily during the 7-on-7 portion of the team’s practice sparking a lot of concerns among the fanbase. But it seems like he squashed a lot of those concerns with the way he performed during 7-on-7 at practice this week.

According to a report from Nicholas Moreano of CHGO Bears, Caleb Williams had an insanely strong performance during the team’s practice.

“Completely different results today in 7-on-7s for Caleb Williams. Only one incomplete pass, which happened on the final rep. Williams’ best pass was a deep touchdown throw to DJ Moore in the middle of the field. His second best throw was a nice layered throw to John Jackson near the left sideline. Rome Odunze ran a vertical route against Terell Smith down the right sideline, and Odunze drew a pass interference call,” Williams said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

Obviously, this is a much, much different result from last week. It sounds like he was insanely impressive, which led to a lot of reactions on social media.

There’s a long way to go before the start of the season, but things are looking optimistic for Williams.
