During Sunday’s Bears win over the Bengals at Soldier Field, rookie offensive linemanKyle Long took issue with Bengals’ defensive player Vontaze Burfict seemingly trying to hit Jay after he already has went to the ground sliding. Without hesitation Kyle Long hopped in the Burfict’s face and let him know that Jay is off limits for that sort of shenanigans. If that wasn’t enough, Kyle took to Twitter to make sure his point got across.

That is exactly what an offensive lineman is supposed to do and a very easy way for a rookie to earn his quarterback’s trust.
