That is exactly what you think it is: a real-life “Lane Train” at FAU. Oh. My. God.
This is clearly a train from a leftover Christmas display in Boca with a Lane Kiffin fathead on it, but FAU certainly believes they’re on the “Lane Train” to success. They have some reason to believe it because the Owls are 5-3, 4-0 in C-USA play and tonight host Marshall in a critical game in the East division. If they win, there’s a real chance the Owls could be in the C-USA Title Game.
The Owls have only been to two bowl games, and none since 2007, but that drought seems destined to end as the Lane Train takes them all the way to the New Orleans Bowl (probably)!
SOMEBODY MADE A TRAIN WITH LANEāS FACE AND IS GROING UP AND DOWN THE FAU BREEZEWAY IN IT.

Hopefully, the Lane Train doesn’t become a runaway train as it has become at USC, Tennesse, and as Alabama’s offensive coordinator. Or, it doesn’t quickly leave the friendly confines of Boca Raton for Fayetteville, Corvallis or maybe even Knoxville (unrealistic, but how amazing would it be?). But for now, the fine folks at FAU are enjoying the Lane Train in only the way people that FAU can enjoy it. And why not?
It’s a giant train with Lane Kiffin’s face on it. How can you not enjoy that?
