No. 5: North Carolina
It appears Larry Fedora finally has the Tar Heels headed in the right direction, assuming they can win at least seven games in 2014. They will not lose versus Liberty, San Diego State or East Carolina (well, maybe) to open the season but Clemson, Virginia Tech and Notre Dame wait in consecutive weeks to follow.
Other away games include Virginia, Miami (FL) and Duke, all of which are winnable but all of which carry room for serious error. A victory at Clemson on September 27th seems unlikely therefore the Heels’ lives will be resting on the Hokies the next week.
