The Michigan State Spartans (18-1, 7-0) take on (the also undefeated in Big Ten play) Michigan Wolverines (14-4, 6-0) Saturday night and MSU will be wearing some great 1979 throwback uniforms. Check out the picture of the jerseys above and you have to agree that those are some of the better looking throwbacks around.
You may remember 1979 being a special year for the Spartans who won a National title with the help of a certain Magic Johnson.
