The NBA community had a lot of fun when Toronto Raptors star Kawhi Leonard announced he signed a sneaker deal with New Balance – especially since his stoic personality fits the brand to a tee. We might have been given our first glance at Leonard’s collaboration with your dad’s favorite shoe company and honestly, they look fresh as hell.
Check out the Raptors themed kicks, featuring claw marks on the outsole with Leonard’s huge hand logo on the shoe itself.

New Balance or Leonard haven’t confirmed these designs are legit, so it might be a fan-made mock-up. If that’s the case it’s an incredibly well-designed mock-up for Leonard’s potential signature shoe. They look better than most signature shoes NBA stars put out.
By signing Kawhi, New Balance clearly proved they want to reinvigorate and modernize their brand. This potential design would be a step in the right direction. I want to cop a pair.
