The clipboard is a pretty basic concept. It is a rectangular object that serves as a surface to write and draw things on, thus allowing others to view those things.
Randy Wittman apparently struggles with that concept and will be enrolling in a Clipboard 101 course during the offseason, a course that reviews the complicated intricacies of the product. During the closing seconds of the Wizards’ Game 1 win in Toronto on Saturday, the Washington head coach fumbled with his clipboard for a few moments and his unncessary confusion was hysterical:
