Meanwhile, Anthony Davis, the #1 overall pick the year before Bennett, didn’t do too shabby himself, notching 30 points, 7 rebounds and 8 blocks (with 3 assists, a steal and zero turnovers to boot), as the Pelicans ran away from the home team Cavs in the second quarter. Bennett also pulled down eight rebounds, which tied a career high — as short and underwhelming as it’s been so far.
