Carmelo Anthony is currently traveling around the country, visiting with NBA teams interested in his services. He visited the Chicago Bulls yesterday, then immediately flew to Houston to entertain the Rockets. Houston’s welcoming committee included a personalized reader board presentation outside the arena, complete with Carmelo in a Houston Rockets #7 jersey. The image of Carmelo in a Rockets jersey didn’t sit too well with the owner of the Rockets’ current #7, Jeremy Lin.

— Jeremy Lin (@JLin7) July 2, 2014
It’s been widely assumed that, in order to land a third superstar to team up with Dwight Howard and James Harden, Lin would be one of the casualties.
