With Drake being the unofficial mascot and global ambassador of the Toronto Raptors, it was not too surprising to learn that Drake’s OVO label likely had a hand in designing one of the team’s black and gold alternate uniforms for this season.
The black and gold alternate jersey is officially called the Alt. 2 jersey on the Raptors’ official website. While the “Alt. 2” has no OVO branding on the jersey itself, OVO uploaded some new images of the alternate jersey to its official blog on Thursday that seems to confirm that these were designed in part by Drake’s brand. To Drake’s credit, the jersey design looks fantastic.
