As I’m sure you read here earlier, the Texans beat the Rays on a terrible third strike call in the bottom of the ninth last night. Joe Maddon was in all kinds of uproar over it after the game, getting in the face of nearly every umpire on the field.
It also happened to be Joe Nathan’s 300th career save. In honor to commemorate the occasion, Joe Maddon congratulated Nathan by writing him a nice little note on his scorecard from the game, as tweeted here by the MLB Network’s ever lovely Heidi Watney:
