The West Virginia Mountaineers suffered through a 4-8 record last year and head coach Dana Holgorsen will be feeling the heat this year as he tries to keep his job. If Holgorsen can’t reach a bowl game, his days at West Virginia are probably numbered. The offense is a huge question mark, as is often the case when the quarterback position is not secure. Luckily, the team has a solid offensive line and that is usually a key to a healthy offense. The defense should be the bright spot of this year’s West Virginia team. The Mountaineers have good talent at all levels of the defense, from the secondary to the linebackers and linemen. West Virginia are currently 30-1 odds against the field to win the National Championship.
