Okay, that’s not really what happened here, but this girl did miss a free throw and the rim did detach itself from the backboard, so we’ll chalk this up to a faulty rim. Still funny to think a bricked free throw could inflict so much damage, though. The game, between General McLane and Mercer High Schools (Penn.), was delayed 45 minutes.
