One of the two recent massively (now) rich Powerball winners is from Dearborn, Missouri and apparently a Royals fan. The jackpot of $580 million will be split with that winner and one other, but the numbers that were played are currently the big story. The winning numbers which were played by the man only a half hour outside of Kansas City were all of famous Kansas City Royals, including George Brett, Bo Jackson, Dennis Leonard, Mark Gubicza, Dan Quisenberry, and Willie Wilson (5,16,22,23, 29 and Power Ball 6). Pretty incredible, huh? We aren’t fully sure what the man who played the Powerball was thinking, but the numbers do add up in this case.
