Playing football and growing a mustache are extremely similar activities. They are bone-crushing, manly endeavors, that require a ton of testosterone.
So who rocks the best ‘staches in football? Here are the top soup-strainers in the NFL today.
Adrian Peterson– Running Back, Minnesota Vikings

I like Adrian’s simple, no frills approach to the mustache. The chin beard really makes it work.
Phillip Rivers – Quarterback, San Diego Chargers
It’s been a rough season for Phillip Rivers and the Chargers. Rivers has thrown only two more touchdowns than interceptions. He’s passed for more than 300 yards only once this season. And San Diego suffered the worst come-from-behind defeat in NFL history at the hands of the Broncos. I’m guessing he grew a mustache to ease the pain.
The internet is sure happy he made that decision.
Marshawn Lynch- Running Back, Seattle Seahawks
This ‘stache isn’t quite what I’d picture for a man with the nickname “Beast Mode,” but I like it anyway. Marshawn is the second leading rusher in the NFL, second only to Adrian Peterson.
I think I’ve discovered their secret.
Arthur Blank- Owner, Atlanta Falcons
Blank’s mustache says, “don’t mess with me.” It’s understated, yet powerful. He’s also the founder of Home Depot. I think that alone requires him to have a mustache.
Jeff Fisher- Coach, St. Louis Rams
Fisher’s mustache carries some sort of mystique. Rams fans were given fake mustaches for Fisher’s debut in St. Louis. You say you want a Fisher-stache? There’s an app for that.
Shahid Khan– Owner, Jacksonville Jaguars
According to Forbes.com, Khan is worth $2.5 billion dollars. I’m guessing his glorious mustache accounts for at least half of that value.
Jason Kelce- Center, Philadelphia Eagles
Kelce, who is injured, has some time on his hands. He trimmed his glorious beard in honor of Movember. Nice work, Kelce.
