The good folks at Bro Bible uncovered this insanely great moment where Russian Hockey player Jon Mirasty kept a smile on his face while getting punched in the head and proceeded to knock out his opponent after he thought it was about time to do so.
Jon ‘Nasty’ Mirasty has a rather interesting resume when it comes to hockey outside the NHL. First of all, he’s Canadian. Secondly, he’s a former Syracuse Crunch enforcer. Third, he’s a former golden glove boxer. Fourth, he’s done a little bit of MMA fighting. His current gig is over in Russia with Chekhov Vityaz of the KHL. As should be presumed, Mirasty also has a, well, “nasty” reputation for fights.
For example, there’s was his TKO against Kip Brennan in 2009. And who could forget this bout against Jeremy Yablonski in 2008? He recently tossed mits with Maxim Yeprev of the KHL’s Metallurg Novokuznetsk. Take special note at that look of sheer amusement on Mirasty’s face while a very agitated Yeprev tries desperately to pummel him.
